Client Responsibilities

- Obtain all necessary permissions and rights for any content or materials provided to us
- Use the delivered products and services in accordance with these Terms and any applicable laws
Project Deliverables and Ownership
Upon full payment of all invoices, the client will receive:
- Ownership: The client will own all unique and custom design elements, code, and content created specifically for their project.
- License: For pre-existing elements, code libraries, frameworks, or tools that are incorporated into the project, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use these elements as part of the delivered website or application.
laur.design reserves the right to:
- Display the completed project in our portfolio
- Reference the project and client name in our marketing materials, unless otherwise specified in the project agreement
Payment Terms
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 25-30% of the total project cost) is required before work begins.
- Invoicing: Remaining payments will be invoiced according to the schedule outlined in the project agreement.
- Late Payments: Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date may incur a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- Project Delays: If a project extends beyond the agreed-upon timeline due to client delays in providing feedback or materials, additional fees may apply.
Changes and Revisions
- Scope Changes: Any changes to the project scope that require additional work beyond what was agreed upon may result in additional charges.
- Revision Limits: Unless otherwise specified, projects include a reasonable number of revisions. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
Termination
By Client
If a client wishes to terminate a project before completion:
- The client must provide written notice
- The non-refundable deposit will be retained
- The client will be invoiced for all work completed up to the termination date
By laur.design
We reserve the right to terminate a project if:
- The client fails to provide necessary materials or feedback for 30 days or more
- The client fails to make payments according to the agreed schedule
- The client requests work that violates applicable laws or ethical standards
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, laur.design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:
- The use or inability to use our services
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our website
- Any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our website
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless laur.design, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from your violation of these Terms or your use of the website.
